Programs and Services

Get mental health assistance for yourself or a loved one

We offer a range of services to help children and young adults to improve and maintain good mental health.  The services provided will be based on sound therapeutic knowledge, and will be individualized to the specific needs and desires of the children and their families. All the services functions will be founded on treating children with respect and dignity.

We aim to assist children with mental illness in leading more productive, autonomous lifestyles and plan to advocate on their behalf by raising awareness about mental health through our services. We will do this by promoting optimal mental health through advocacy and education, and highlighting the benefit if having caring communities that empower students to develop their skills to their fullest potential.

Homeless Outreach

Serious mental illnesses disrupt people’s ability to carry out essential  aspects of daily life, such as self care and household management.   Mental illnesses may also prevent people from forming and maintaining  stable relationships or cause people to misinterpret others’ guidance  and react irrationally.  This often results in pushing away caregivers,  family, and friends who may be the force keeping that person from  becoming homeless.  As a result of these factors and the stresses of  living with a mental disorder, people with mentally illnesses are much  more likely to become homeless than the general population (Library  Index, 2009).

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge. Homeless Outreach is something that we take very seriously, and our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact.  We hope to open a day program and group home of 100 children with mental illness and intellectual disability.
